Banaras - A Mystic Love Story

Summary

This film focuses on the simple relationship of a young daughter and her parents. Shwetambari is the bright young daughter of Dimple Kapadia and Raj Babbar, who are from the Brahmin caste. Shwetambari studies science at the local university in Banaras. Soham is a low caste mystic and son of Babaji (Naseeruddin Shah) who teaches music at the University. Soon, these youngsters fall in love much to the dismay of their parents, who threaten to take away everything from the young lovers.
