Summary

Parvati loses her husband but what makes her pain bearable is her beloved son Sudhakar . But very soon she is separated from him too when he leaves to study in the city, where he falls in love with Padma, the daughter of the city's wealthiest businessman Seth Dharamdas. Padma reciprocates but her father objects to the match. So the couple get married and run away to Sudhakar's village. Parvati is overjoyed to get her son back, and welcomes her daughter-in-law, not knowing the spoilt rich girl will become the cause of a second separation from her son. Unable to bear Padma's behaviour, Parvati has to ask Sudhakar to leave. As they do Sudhakar makes a vow to make his wife realize what she has done.
