Aishwarya introduced as a Bachchan to international media

For the first time since actress Aishwarya Rai's marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, she was introduced to the international media Friday as 'Aishwarya Bachchan'.

The occasion was the announcement of a world tour titled 'The Unforgettable Tour', starting April next year which will be led by Amitabh Bachchan.

Other members of the tour are his son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Riteish Deshmukh.

There was a flutter in the audience as the speaker announced names of people on the stage who would be part of the world tour. When it was Aishwarya's turn, she was introduced as 'Aishwarya Bachchan'.

She said she was delighted to be part of the tour and added: "This will be my first tour with my father-in-law and also the first with Abhishek".

During the event, Aishwarya, also a former Miss World, was presented with a memento on behalf of MSN-India, which announced that during this year she had emerged as the most searched Indian on the website's search engine.

Aishwarya said: "I am delighted. This shows the good support of our well wishers from across the world".
