Come October 23rd and New Delhi gets ready to embrace the collections of 115 designers across the country at the Wills India Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2011. To be held at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, the organizers of WIFW say that this season promotes a host of fresh faces who will showcase their creations on the national stage for the first time. While a number of established designers make it to the WIFW ramp, introducing new talent is in keeping with the spirit of Wills India Fashion Week, which tries to bring something extraordinary on the catwalk each year.

Italian fashion retailer Giorgio Armani revealed in a recent statement that his fashion label has no plans to further explore markets in India. However this does not mean that the Armani fashion range will not make it to the Indian markets in the future. In fact John Hooks, the Deputy Chairman of the Giorgio Armani Group, is of the opinion that the label will use this time to conduct a detailed research of the Indian market, so that when they do launch their brand, they can do so without committing any mistake.
